In this fast changing world, maintaining continuity among successive generations is becoming more and more difficult; and, in view of the far-reaching changes taking place in many walks of life, generation gaps are becoming wider.

The youth are entitled as a matter of natural right to a profound care and concern to be educated and trained to meet the challenges of a rapid evolution of life; to be equipped with the knowledge and ability to go on developing, if possible at a faster rate.

The Youth are the hope of the mankind for the future. In their growth and development rests the standard of life of posterity on this Mother Earth. The importance of facilitating the Global Youth Development in the right direction has come to be recognized by the United Nations, all the benevolent governments and quite a number of social service organizations all over the world.

Global Youth Development forms part of Human Resources Development; but this area needs a special emphasis simply because quality of life in this world is dependent on the quality of human beings who are going to occupy and manage it in the years, decades and centuries to come. It is the duty of all responsible citizens of the world to enquire whether the youth of today are getting proper protection from the problem of evil; whether they are getting proper guidance and training; whether they are able to develop in accordance with their natural talents; and whether they are provided with enough opportunities to grow harmoniously and peacefully. And, if we apply our minds to these and other relevant questions, it would become clear that there is much – very much – to do in this field.

United Nations and many other organizations are of course doing a lot to ensure a safe environment of growth and development for the modern youth. But viewed in the light of importance and immensity of the task, there is a need for all of us to contribute our mite to Global Youth Development. This is a moral obligation for all of us. We should leave a better world for our posterity and we should shape our posterity as better global citizens than we are.

As a first major step in fulfilling our obligations to the modern youth of the world, Dynamic Youth a free online monthly magazine in English, has been brought out as a sacred mission.

The objectives of Dynamic Youth have been drawn, having in mind the entire range of issues connected with Global Youth Development, as envisaged by United Nations and other governments.

The task facing us in the field of Global Youth Developmentis so big that no single institution, however big it may be, or how vast its resources might be, could do full justice to it. It is essential that all the like minded international institutions already engaged in this field should join together and work whole-heartedly as associates.
